The two maps I chose from Social Explorer show the high concentration of residents with a bachelor's degree or higher, and their age range. The majority, at about 80%, are under 45 years of age and have bachelor's degrees. A recent influx of this type of resident illustrates the root of the Southie housing "problem". The image is an example of a vacant lot awaiting redevelopment. The surrouding buildings are remnants of the industrial, working-class era.
